* Interested in Guatemala, malnutrition, environmental health, global health, and/or social justice?
* Want to put your Spanish skills to use to help an awesome Guatemalan NGO obtain grant funding?
Equipo Técnico de Educación en Salud Comunitaria (ETESC) is a Guatemalan NGO founded by war refugees, which works to improve the health of marginalized populations and victims of armed conflict through integral health services and defense of human rights. Their work encompasses environmental health (including safe stoves, water filters, and fruit trees), human rights, HIV/AIDS education, cancer detection, and malnutrition.
We are looking for student(s) who are fluent in Spanish, who would be able to:
- search for grants
- help revise grant applications
- translate grant applications from Spanish to English
- communicate directly with ETESC in Spanish via email and skype
ETESC would be responsible for developing the main content of the grants.
