I was looking for a "Feedback" page but I haven't seen one so I
decided to go ahead and post my feedback here.

Overall I thought your scene made a lot of improvements from the
first time we saw a reading of it in class. I think that you grabbed
your concept and really went about trying to flesh it out. I think as
far as understanding the script goes you did a good job. You
definitely understood the scene as a whole and what the scene is
about, that showed through your title for the scene. However I think
the Hispanic Jean is still a little confusing. First off is he still
Hispanic? Are we still in Southern California? I wasn't clear on
those aspects...and obviously things would be different with costumes
and set but I think you could work on making that more clear. And you
did that to an extent with the music and the dancing. I loved your
incorporation of the music and the dance into the scene. The dance
was a really good medium for the sexual tension to be shown through.
I think that you should work on the specific blocking of the dance and
if possible have specific moments for the lines. Some of the lines
got lost and the dancing was distracting at points so I think that if
you found more precise moments for the lines and a clearer path for
the actors that problem would work itself out. I would also like to
see more differentiation between the two types of dancing and how the
second one is much more sexually charged than the first. Awesome job
though!

I liked your concept for the scene a lot. I think the college
age, frat house, private v. public college works well within the
scene. What I enjoyed most about your understanding of the script was
your direction for Hamlet's laughter. I think you found optimal
moments for the laughter and found places where it could grow and
Hamlet could go "crazy". I also really liked the staging...for the
most part. I thought the use of the bench was quite good but it might
be useful for the actors to know where their "places" on stage are and
if the bench changes. Is it Hamlet's the entire time? Does it change
to R and G's? I also, as an actor in your scene, found the walking
behind the bench a little awkward. If it were me I think I would
like to see that intimidation from Hamlet happen in front of the bench
where it audience can see it more. If you are set the the action
behind the bench I guess I would like to see you use the bench more.
Perhaps Hamlet could somehow corner R and G behind the bench or
something? I'm not sure. I really like the way you had Hamlet lead
the scene though and I think you could push it even further.
Good job to you as well.
