Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Lead Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO), proven leadership capabilities, and experience managing end-to-end SAP transformation initiatives.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive workshops, lead project teams, collaborate with executive stakeholders, and potentially grow into a future SAP FI/CO Practice Leader role. Experience within the Manufacturing and production industry is a preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership
- Lead SAP FI/CO solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Drive SAP S/4HANA Brownfield migration projects from planning through go-live.
- Conduct business process workshops and gather functional requirements.
- Configure and support:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Center Accounting
- Internal Orders
- Profit Center Accounting
- Product Costing
- COPA (Profitability Analysis)
- General Ledger (GL)
Project Management
- Lead cross-functional SAP implementation and migration teams.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution.
- Ensure successful project execution within budget and schedule.
- Monitor project financials and status reporting.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
- Provide strategic SAP advisory services.
- Present solution recommendations and project updates.
Team Leadership
- Mentor junior consultants and project team members.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement.
- Support capability development within the SAP practice.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- 12+ years of SAP FI/CO experience.
- 2+ full-cycle SAP implementations.
- 1+ SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration project.
- Strong configuration experience in SAP FI and CO modules.
- Experience writing functional specifications and working with technical teams.
- Strong client-facing communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing project deliverables.
- US Citizen.
Preferred
- Aerospace & Defense industry experience.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
- Experience with Central Finance.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation programs.
- Practice leadership or pre-sales experience.
