My client is looking for Django Lead for 3 Month Contract role based in Warren, NJ (Hybrid)

Position: Django Lead

Location:  Warren, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: 3 Month Contract

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Python and Django.

• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code.

• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic (with front-end teams).

• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Manage databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data models.

• Implement security and data protection measures.

• Collaborate with designers, front-end devs, and stakeholders.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Min. 8+years of experience in -

• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework.

• Databases: Experience with relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Front-End: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

• APIs: Understanding of RESTful APIs.

• Tools: Version control (Git).

• Concepts: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, scalable architecture.

• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, teamwork.

• Education: Often a CS degree is preferred, but practical experience is highly valued.
