Position: Contract/Fulltime Position
 
Job Description:
Task 1 - Data Stage install , set up and establish connections
The following 3 phases are proposed for IBM Data Stage install and set up, scope of the phases is subject to change as progresses.
1)  Multi node Data Stage in new Data center and AWS Cloud – mimic current On-Prem set up  
2)  AWS Cloud  - Separate out  Data Stage into 2 components i.e. a) Engine and Info Sphere b) Database  
3)  AWS Cloud  - Separate out Data Stage into components i.e. a) Engine b) Info Sphere and c) Database

Phase 1 - Install and set up multi node Data stage  (Engine, Info Sphere and DB2) in New JPMC Data center and AWS Cloud

Phase 2 - Separate out Data stage components into 2, Single AZ – AWS Cloud
•        Separate out Data stage into two components and install / set up i.e., Data Stage Engine & Web server (Info Sphere) and RDS Oracle Data base repository in AWS 
•        Install Data Stage Engine & Info Sphere on EC2 instances and connect with RDS Oracle repository
•        Establish connection between DS Engine & Info Sphere with RDS Oracle repository 

Phase 3 - Separate out Data stage components into 3 , Multi AZ– AWS Cloud
•        Separate out Data stage into three components and install / set up i.e., 1) Data Stage Engine, 2) Web server (Info Sphere) and 3) RDS Oracle Data base repository in AWS 
•        Install Data Stage Engine and Info Sphere on Separate EC2 instances and connect with RDS Oracle repository
•        Establish connection between 1) DS Engine and Info Sphere, 2) DS Engine and RDS Oracle repository, and 3) Info Sphere and RDS Oracle repository

Perform the following steps with all Phases - 
•  Connect from “On-prem VDI- Data Stage Designer” to Data stage through NLB and ALB, ASG
•  Export and import Payment Net 4 Data Stage projects
•  Run Jobs with Test data and verify 

Task 2 (For all three Phases) - Repave Data Stage EC2 instances and bring Data stage back to previous state with minimal / no downtime, without losing any data / state 
1.  Retain Projects and jobs
2.  Retain Users
3.  Handle password rotation - every 90 days
Goal : After Repave of EC2, We should be able to start from where we were left off
