Job Title: Software Development Engineer (Backend Focused)

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid: In-office Monday and Wednesday)

Employment Type: Contract (Corp-to-Corp - C2C)

Rate: $60/Hour on C2C-----Overview

Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role 

• Build out a long-term vision for the application and work with others on the team to deliver projects.
• Contribute to projects on the team.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Must Have Skills / Requirements

4. ElasticSearch Experience
1. Optimizing WBD’s indexing pipeline and query service for the content metadata application.
5. Database Technologies

1. DynamoDB, RDS, and general data modeling – Want this candidate to be able to bring their experience and help figure out the best practice in optimizing ingestions and querying.

6. Java Experience

1. All backend services developed in Java (some are in Kotlin). Want to see data modeling, database technology knowledge, and API development.

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

1. Frontend React Development.
2. Kotlin experience.
