GDOT - Senior Dynatrace Engineer (805293)
ATLANTA,GEORGIA
This position is Hybrid (Remote and Onsite). The candidate first day is onsite and onsite on demand basis. Preference will be given to candidates local to Atlanta Metro area/State of Georgia. Indicate if candidate has full time residency within the Atlanta Metro area, within the State of Georgia,
Preference will be given for candidates who are US Citizens, Permanent Residence Card (aka Green Card) or have Employment Authorization Document (EAD)
State Agency: Georgia Dept. of Transportation
Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
5+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure support, or monitoring roles.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Basic networking understanding (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing).
Experience with scripting or automation tools like PowerShell or Bash (preferred).
Familiarity with Kubernetes or container monitoring.
Experience with ITIL practices and regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services).
Soft Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and management
Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with scripting or automation tools like PowerShell or Bash (preferred).
Basic networking understanding (DNS, TCP/IP, Load balancing).
Experience migrating from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS
Knowledge of recommending baseline monitoring thresholds, KPI;s and SLA's
Familiarity with enterprise log analysis frameworks and tools like Jira or Service Now.
Exposure to AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification (Preferred).
