Sr. Data Engineer – Contract

Location: Santa Monica, CA
Work Mode: 3–4 Days Onsite/Week
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 12+ Months (Potential Extension)

 

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience with modern cloud data platforms, SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Experience with SQL-based data transformation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or equivalent
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services
• Experience with AI/agentic frameworks is a strong plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills
