Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to lead regional network deployment and scaling initiatives across our expanding infrastructure. You will design, deploy, and optimize large-scale WAN, LAN, and data center networks to support business growth, ensuring high availability, performance, and security in multi-region environments. This role involves close collaboration with cloud, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions using modern automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute regional network deployments, including site rollouts, circuit provisioning, and integration with existing infrastructure.
Drive network scaling efforts through capacity planning, load balancing, and optimization of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
Implement and manage SDN/SD-WAN solutions for dynamic traffic management and cost-efficient scaling.
Automate network provisioning and monitoring using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python scripting, or Cisco NSO.
Troubleshoot complex issues in high-traffic regional networks, performing root-cause analysis and proactive optimizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
Maintain documentation, conduct performance audits, and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with proven track record in regional deployments and scaling projects.
Expertise in routing/switching (Cisco/Juniper certifications like CCNP/CCIE preferred), BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, and SDN.
Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting (Python/Bash).
Strong knowledge of load balancers (F5, Citrix), firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios).
Experience with regional/multi-site network projects in telco, enterprise, or cloud environments.
Preferred Skills
CCIE or equivalent certification.
Familiarity with 5G/edge computing networks or public cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, on-call rotations.
