A Service and Experience Salesforce Architect is a senior-level technical leader responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end customer service and digital experience solutions, primarily within the Salesforce ecosystem with omnistudio. They bridge the gap between complex business requirements for customer support and the technical architecture of public-facing portals and internal service consoles.

 

Core Responsibilities

5+ years on experience in Salesforce omnistudio

Solution Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture for Salesforce Service Cloud (Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge) and Experience Cloud (Portals, Communities, and Sites).

Strategic Planning: Define technical direction and roadmaps for digital transformation, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

Documentation: Create High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), including detailed data models, sharing rules, and architectural diagrams.

Technical Governance: Oversee code reviews, deployment strategies (DevOps), and environment management to maintain system integrity.

Integration: Design complex integration patterns between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., ServiceNow, ERPs, or middleware like MuleSoft).

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-suite executives, product owners, and developers to align technical solutions with business outcomes.

 

Key Skills & Qualifications

Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Apex, Flows), and omnistudio.

Certifications: Often requires Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, and Certified Application/System Architect.

Technical Proficiency: Understanding of integration patterns (APIs, Event-driven architecture), Salesforce security models, and DevOps processes.
