Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead Consultant with strong expertise in end-to-end Pega PRPC application development, enhancements, and production support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Banking and Healthcare domains, deep understanding of case lifecycle management, integrations, performance tuning, and Agile delivery. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade BPM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Pega PRPC applications in accordance with business requirements and best practices.

• Lead and contribute to full SDLC activities including requirement analysis, design, development, unit testing, deployment, and production support.

• Translate business requirements into user stories and technical design in collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Lead System Architects.

• Develop and configure case lifecycle, workflows, UI, data models, decision rules, and declarative rules.

• Implement integrations using REST, SOAP, messaging, file listeners, and queue-based mechanisms.

• Perform code reviews, enforce Pega guardrails, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and support release activities.

• Optimize application and database performance through tuning and best practices.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC development.

• Strong experience with Pega versions 7.x, 8.x, and 24.x.

• Expertise in case management, data modeling, declarative rules, decision management, and process rules.

• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations and external system connectivity.

• Solid understanding of Java, SQL, JSON, HTML, and basic JavaScript/React.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Experience in Healthcare domains.

• AWS exposure or cloud-based Pega deployments.

• Experience with Postman, Splunk, UNIX/Linux environments.

• Pega certifications: CSA, CSSA.

• Experience leading small teams or acting as technical lead.
