Role: Business Analyst With Capital Markets

Location: Quincy MA

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to capital markets products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX.
Knowledge of FR Y, BASEL , CCAR, FR2052a (5G/6G), FIX.
Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, operations, and IT teams to understand business needs and workflows.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Support system implementation, testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
Analyze trade lifecycle processes including order management, execution, clearing, and settlement.
Identify process improvements and recommend automation or optimization opportunities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
Create and maintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and data mappings.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
2–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets or Financial Services.
Strong understanding of capital markets instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives, FX).
Knowledge of trade lifecycle and financial systems (OMS, EMS, trading platforms).
Experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
