Job: IT SQL Developer (NO PL/SQL or ORACLE SQL) 
Experience: 8+ Years 

Location: Remote SC 

Visa: Any visa (NO GC)

Duration: 12 months from project Start date.

No. of Hours per week: 40

Interview Process: 1 Round of Virtual Interviews

Work Location: The role is 100% remote.

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

1. 3+ Years of Experience with MS T-SQL (Stored Procedures, Advanced Queries, Optimization)

2. 3+ Years of Experience with ETL Process Development

3. 1+ Year of Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

4. 3+ Years of Experience with Report Development

5. 3+ Years of Experience with Data Warehousing & Relational Databases

6. 1+ Year of Experience HL7 v 2.3.1 -2.5.1 and ORU Messages

7. 3+ Years of Experience with XML

8. 3+ Years of Experience with MS SQL Server 2016+

9. 1+ Year of Experience with security and data classification related to CDC, HIPAA, CJIS, PHI, PII.

 

Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):

1. Ability to manage large data sets (1 TB+)

2. Requirements Gathering & Documentation

3. Public Health / Disease Surveillance Systems Experience

4. Statistical Analysis System (SAS)

5. LOINC / SNOMED

6. FASTQ FILES AND

DEMULTIPLEXING

7. R & RStudio

 

Environment / Tools:

• Microsoft SQL Server (2016+), T-SQL, SSMS

• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL/Data Pipeline development

• Data Warehousing environments and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)

• HL7 v2.x (including ORU), XML, CSV, and other structured data formats

• Healthcare/public health data systems (e.g., EDSS, eHARS, CDC reporting systems)

• Electronic Case Reporting (eCR) and data exchange integrations.

• SAS (legacy processes) and scripting for data transformation

• HIPAA, PHI/PII, and CDC data standards and security compliance.
