Job Title: Staff Software Engineer with JVM and Sybase for trading system
Location: Irvine, TX
Job Description:
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer with JVM and Sybase with FSD to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, backend services, and modern full-stack technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in JVM performance tuning, GC optimization, thread dump and heap analysis using tools such as jstack, jmap, and VisualVM.
- Database Sybase
- Solid Unix/Linux background with proficiency in shell scripting.
- Experience building and maintaining multi-threaded data pipelines and financial/trading backend systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance and scalability issues.
