Doesanyone else using the T mobile Home Internet model KVD21 have this happen to them? My internet worked great for the first month, and about 2 days ago or so the internet just drops randomly and won't reconnect and will give me error codes Wan005 and Wan002 until I factory reset it. Turning it off and on again multiple times doesn't fix the error either. And when I do factory reset it, whenever it goes to reboot it gets stuck in a cycle where it keeps restarting over and over until randomly it finally reboots after unplugging and plugging it back in multiple times. This is super frustrating as you could probably imagine and I have no idea why out of nowhere it started doing this. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, if it continues I guess I will try to see about getting a replacement unit. Thanks for any input or thoughts on what could be the issue!

Reseating it never worked for me, I haven't had the issue since yesterday I've put a fan underneath the unit and it seems to have mitigated the issue. My best guess is it's an overheating problem because after the unit is unplugged for 5 or so minutes the errors go away

Try putting a fan or something near it to keep it cool. To get the errors to go away I had to factory reset using the little pinhole button on the back. You could try unplugging it for a while and letting it cool down and plugging it back in

I have the same issue. Got the Arcadyan modem. Worked great for about a month then suddely stopped working. Box connects to the towers (I see the freq it connects on 4G and 5G on the app) but zero internet. On the modem itself, the error Wan002 appears. Rebooted multiple times with no luck.

I have two home internet accounts and I'm wondering if it's a device issue. The grey cylinder one works fine and the black box one keeps having the issue this thread is about. The app won't even connect to it anymore even being on the wifi of the router. It's not an internet issue for me as the TV and phone connect just fine. But if I try to use the app or ethernet to a mesh wifi it stops working. If I plug other ethernet devices they connect to the internet. The Indian tech support is not helpful. And the app did not do an upgrade of firmware.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app and doing the setup again for the device connects the app but still no ethernet port for my mesh wifi but other ethernet devices connect just fine. Mesh being deco m5 which works fine with the grey cylinder home internet.

I re-seated the SIM card by removing it and putting it back in the same way, but not closing the little rubberized flap afterwards. I suspect pressure from the flap may be pushing the SIM card slightly away from the ideal electrical contact position.

To fix error code WAN002, contact T-Mobile tech support and ask them to reset the SIM card found on the router. You will have to remove it and read those tiny numbers to them; it only takes a few minutes and that is it, problem fixed.

I should've stayed away after reading the reviews. Now I regret getting T-Mobile home internet service. Phone service is fine but home internet is horrible. Constant buffering (frozen now as Im typing this), bandwidth is low messages, "no internet connection" message even though the router shows 4 Bars with "your connection is very good" message. Most recently I've been getting WAN002 message. Too bad I've already paid my bill for this cycle but I'm going back to Spectrum before the next billing period. $30 bucks a month for T-Mobile home internet is certainly not worth the aggravation. Spectrum is most definitely worth the extra few bucks.

Here comes the vent. about a month ago I canceled my T-Mobile account which had me and my ex-girlfriend on it I wanted to switch to Mint mobile my girlfriend stayed with T-Mobile but they made her get a new account since I was the account holder. I was told that once I pay off my phone and my ex girlfriend gets her new account then my phone would be unlocked and I would be able to take it to Mint mobile. I found out after I had already canceled my account and paid off the phone that the phone would not unlock. since I don't have an account anymore it is very hard to get verified with anyone from T-Mobile I've had to be in a T-Mobile store while talking to a T-Mobile representative on the phone so that the person in the T-Mobile store could verify that I was me and so that the person on the phone could submit a unlock request which I have done three different times!!!! this issue has been escalated three different times also. the device is a Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra and the reason code is 19 when I try to permanently unlock it on the device. T-Mobile has no answers when I'm able to get through to them but that's only if I'm at a store and talking to a rep on the phone at the same time. the device is a replacement device from Assurant which is another route that I explored for a possible problem but was assured that the IMEI should be in T-Mobile's database even though it's a replacement device. I'm running out of options I don't know what else to do I have $1,000 phone that I'm not able to use to make phone calls or use cell towers and it's so frustrating oh and I also just recently received my final bill in the mail from T-Mobile which is a negative! -$47 balance so now I'm wondering since it's not a zero balance and since T-Mobile owes me money could that be the reason that my locked. Does anyone who has read this far have any suggestions or reasons why my phone is locked? I'll be filing an FCC complaint next because they restricting me from using the device that I legally bought from them. I doubt it causes any progress but maybe someone will see it and care enough to tighten the leash on big companies like T-Mobile.

Agree with the Tmobile executive social media team contact, I contacted them through X (formerly twitter). In my case i was getting a runaround about unlocking my phone for 1 week. Initially told phone was paid off, wait 72 hours for unlock. Then told phone not paid off, so i paid off and waited another 48 hours. Then told needs to be approved by samsung, email sent to samsung by tmobile rep. I contacted the exec social media team on X and the person helped to unlock my phone within 3 hours. This is shocking but in my reading seems like a common issue with tmobile.

The issue is common with all carriers especially when it comes with devices not sold by the carrier. You can search on each respective forums and you will see. Especially with iphones more than other device.

On my 4th trip to the store to let them know I waited another 72 hours after they claimed to send and unlock request, I sat in the parking lot, hopeless. Defeated. I took a minute to prepare myself on how to politely but specifically voice my frustration to whichever unlucky employee that I was going to interact with this time. I got my phone and made sure it was on the right screens and per usual, tried a network and holy motha. The little unlocked. I don't know why and I honestly don't care. Someone finally did what they were supposed to do but I won't know who because of the blanket of incompetent people that surrounded them on this issue. Nevertheless, Bye!

Simply put, I lost my phone, so I have a brand new tmobile sim in front of me and want to update my sim and place it into another phone, yet I'm prompted to get a 6 digit verification code that's being sent to the missing device. What do I do?

This is one of the stupidest security measures in the history of short sighted security Measures. What is the first thing you do if you lose your phone? Contact your service provider. Then you are told you can login the website without your phone. Absolutely stupid

That would be great if receiving the code via email was an option. When I login there is only one option for verification-sms text to my phone. Obviously having the code sent to my email as an option would solve the problem.

When I login, I have the option for both. Is your e-mail address attached to your account? You can reach out to T-Mobile via DM on Facebook or Twitter to see what the T-Force Team can do for you. You could also visit your local T-Mobile store as well.

Is this $200 credit combinable with the device payoff credit when coming from another carrier with an active device payment plan? The sales rep told me I would get both credits but I just received a call from the rebates team telling me that you can only get one or the other. I feel this is dishonest and I should get what was promised.

i got the same problem i was at&t user and when i changed to timobile the manager promise me 200$ for each line i brought 5 lines like 1000$ 5x 200$ master card gift card, but after the maximo time like 6 weeks and nothing i went to ask about it and the answer me its because used itin number, but he doesnt asked me what number i use to pay max tax is itin number or social, and i opened a bussines account i dont used itin number, i thought its a fake promotion and ill post many bad review and feedback about it where i can do that because its i fake promotion nobody get this gift cards
