Jobs stuck in 'received' status

Hi,

Dirac version: v7r2p27

Our POC dirac server had a problem. Jobs were stuck in 'received' status. I also noticed that the proxy (created from my personal certificate) used for submitting pilot jobs was about to expire in 10 days (and therefor also my personal certificate).

I did 2 things:

1) renewed my personal certificate and then created a new proxy for pilot submission

2) restarted all dirac services (runsvctr t *)

Any idea what could have been the cause?

I did some searching in logs but to no avail (but maybe I'm not looking in the right place).

But maybe I should have asked this question before I managed to get it working again :)

Hi Ernst,

The problem was most likely related to the Optimizers executors got stuck. There were quite a number of fixes in the recent DIRAC updates

in order to fix this. Most of the fixes are in the v7r3 releases. Note that the current production release is v7r3p15, which contains all these fixes.
