WebAppDIRAC production version

I'm updating CTADIRAC instance to DIRAC 7.3.4 but it's not clear to me which WebAppDIRAC version I should use.

I've looked at the install_site.sh script for a primary server installation with python3 and there the latest WebAppDIRAC version is installed, which is actually the 4.4.0a1. However this one requires DIRAC 7.4.0a0 which is not what I want.

So, I've tried to install an older one 4.3.0a16 but it doesn't seem to work correctly.

So, could you please tell me if there is a stable version installable with pip?

Hi Luisa,

you should use v4r3, if I look at (py2 file): https://github.com/DIRACGrid/DIRAC/blob/integration/releases.cfg#L34

Now, I see a problem here, as for py3 the release has not been created: https://pypi.org/project/WebAppDIRAC/#history

Andrii and Chris would you have a look?

Just to let you know that 4.4.0a1 seems to work (after having empty the browser cache), but in anyway I would like to use the stable version v4r3 as you suggested.

Hi all,
If I understood correctly, the reason is in the CI update, which causing an error in WebAppDIRAC:
make_release.py: error: the following arguments are required: --release-notes-fn

So it looks like I need to update the Deployment action on WebAppDIRAC

this is just to inform you that yesterday DIRAC 7.3.5 was created https://pypi.org/project/DIRAC/ and mostly that we now have "proper" WebAppDIRAC py3 version to use with it, 4.3.4, see https://pypi.org/project/WebAppDIRAC/
