Dear Dirac Experts,

I have a question regarding the .CHECKP keyword. According to the manual, the checkpoint file should be written roughly every 6th iteration. However, I noticed that the KRCI_CVECS.x file is only updated once the job has successfully finished (I monitored the file in the scratch directory during iterations, and it remained empty).

Because of this, if my job is terminated due to cluster time limits, I cannot restart the calculations, making it practically impossible to run time-consuming KRCI jobs.

Is this the expected behaviour, or might I be missing something in my understanding of this keyword?

Best regards,
Adam
