joining a classic game

how can i find a classic game and join. i have never done a variant and nervous to do so. i have not played the game for 5 years now, and anxious to re-enter.

I would recommend joining the Discord chat (use the "Chat" link in the main menu in the app) and ask around if you want more of a face-to-face feeling in the game, or just look at "Open games" in the main menu and look for one with the Classical variant if you want to find it with less effort, but run a higher risk of bad apples in the player pool.

If/when you have high reliability or ranking you can create or join games with high reliability or ranking requirements, and hopefully get better opponents.
