XML export / Problem viewing events

Would there be a way to provide an xml file that could be exported?
I'm concerned with not having any data to take with me should anything
happen to the service.

Also, the service is not displaying events beyond 10 years. We don't
see anything in list or timeline mode beyond 2000. I see others with
this problem, so don't know if it's an issue of constraints on number
of events or number of years. Thank you!
