hey Im using the Acumin Pro Font Pack since a while on my website, but now suddenly is not displaying correctly. The Acumin pack is still my selected font pack but somehow is displaying some other type of font. Any ideas?
If you want to have a bolder or lighter version of Acumin Pro Condensedyou would need to find a different src for it. You haven't actually added both 700 and 400 weights, you've added the same font twice and said use the same thing whether you ask for 700 or 400.
The great thing is, you got it to work as it's supposed to, you just didn't get the result you wanted. So just find that other font (heavier or lighter), switch the source file address to match and you'll be good to go!
If that was the original font included with your pack then according to SQSP support you can't remove it. Even if you have changed the font everywhere. But if you have the SquarepaceWebsites Tools Pro Chrome extension installed then you can use the UI tweaks and reset the fonts.
They are fully installable font files, able to be used in any software program for testing and comping purposes. They are not allowed to be used in a final project (whether personal or commercial) without purchasing a license.
Is there any solution for using Adobe fonts on Canva? No one can get any of these online guides for syncing adobe fonts to work because the options and steps elaborated on simply do not exist for any of our users. Even outside of that, independently purchasing a front that is on adobe fonts and uploading it is met with the same licensing error. Even using font files newly downloaded or legacy versions from years ago.
It seems in rare cases if a current adobe font was uploaded over a year ago it is still useable, but any new files will not fly no matter what form it takes. I'm on the verge of transitioning the whole org off of Canva because we're hitting so many conflicts with various brands. My only hypothesis is that adobe is cracking down on licensing to get people to express.
I'm using a custom font on my site and it's working well but I am unable to change the font on products and catergories in the shop page, and product blocks on the home page. I've tried a few options suggested elsewhere on the forum but with no luck.
Variable fonts are a highly customizable font technology. The Adobe Fonts variable font panel allows you to adjust the appearance of variable fonts and choose the best style to suit your projects. Creative Cloud apps that currently support variable fonts are Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Traditional static fonts require you to add or install each individual style that you would like to use in your project. For example, with Acumin Pro, you might add Acumin Pro Regular, Acumin Pro Italic, and any other styles you want access to. Acumin Variable contains all styles of Acumin, so you would only need to add one font.
Further down the panel are the axis controls. Axes represent a continuous range of style variations. One variable font can contain multiple axes. You can customize an axis to any number within its minimum or maximum range. In the example of the Acumin Variable, the axes are Slant, Weight, and Width.
Every family detail page for variable fonts on the Adobe Fonts website includes an interactive text tool and panel that allows you to customize the font to your desired style. You can choose a preset instance to quickly manipulate or create your own.
To save a variable font in your web project, select add to web project above the variable font panel on the family page. Ensure the correct font is selected; some variable fonts have additional fonts within their family.
The customizable nature of variable fonts makes them perfect for a variety of applications, from digital graphics to product packaging or even vehicle wrapping. By adjusting the width, a font can be arranged so it is still readable on irregular surfaces.
Variable font capabilities allow them to perform well in responsive web design. One variable font can be used to adjust from small to large screen sizes, helping retain a small file size and decrease loading time.
In 1987 he joined Adobe Systems. Since then, he has concentrated primarily on designing typefaces for digital technology, often drawing inspiration from classical sources. He has developed many new fonts for the Adobe Originals program. Among his early projects at Adobe were the Utopia (1988), Adobe Garamond (1989), Minion (1990) and Poetica (1992) families.
Since 2000, the rate of Slimbach's (and Adobe's) new typefaces has slowed, as he has taken advantage of the new linguistic and typographic capabilities offered by the OpenType format. Where in the 1990s a given typeface design might be instantiated in one or two fonts, with 200-500 glyphs, a typical new Slimbach work post-2000 has 1500-3000 glyphs.[11][12] Reviewing Slimbach's 2007 project Arno, font designer Mark Simonson noted that it 'almost becomes a different typeface' when italic alternates are enabled.[13] A hallmark of Slimbach's designs is his use of a 'Th' ligature.
Outside of work for public use, Slimbach has designed Adobe's corporate font, Adobe Clean Sans and Adobe Clean Serif, which are used by Adobe in branding and user interfaces.[14] He also designed Adobe Hand B, based on his handwriting, for use in Acrobat's digital signature feature.
I had this code to specify the Acumin (sans serif) font for the product title headings, but it now displays the Editorial font (serif) instead. These are fonts I've uploaded myself. The code used to work, but noticed that it doesn't anymore. It did the same to the @DAYOFFHOMEGOODS text on top of my Instafeed app.
1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2.Asset->/theme.scss.liquid->upload your custom font all font tyep = TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2, SVG
3. Asset->/theme.scss.liquid->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
@KetanKumar thanks for the reply, but I already know how to upload a custom font. I just want to specify the font in the product title in the product recommendations (2nd section in the homepage) to be a specific font.
We're experiencing this same problem. Our fonts work working fine and suddenly they just don't work. They are showing in mobile and one of them is not showing on desktop. We can't even find the same Asset path you mentioned above. You type "theme.scss.liquid" but in our end it is: "theme.css.liquid". there's no "s" in the asset root directory.
Illustrator does not have a folder of fonts like this, but I am able to use Acumin Var in Illustrator on my machine, so maybe you just need to install InDesign? I'm not sure if those InDesign fonts are shared with all Adobe apps, or if there's another copy of Acumin Var hiding somewhere on my system.
Univers (regular, not condensed) is the university-wide institutional sans serif font. It should be used as the primary font for all university-wide marketing and communications when available. It may be used in a broad range of applications, including word processing and as body copy in printed materials. One exception to this is on the website, where Acumin should be used.
Acumin should always be used as the font for NAU web pages. While Acumin has a variety of weights, we are limiting usage to the three listed below. Using different weights helps create separation between headlines and body copy while making the hierarchy of information clear for the reader.
The entire Futura font family is used for FCB sub-branding (includes Futura Light, Book, Medium, Heavy, Bold, Extra Bold. Also includes Light Condensed, Medium Condensed, Bold Condensed, and Extra Bold Condensed).
Can Acumin Variable Concept be licensed? If so, where? All I can find are free for personal use or non-variable versions at MyFonts or Adobe fonts. I tried activating the regular versions at Adobe fonts but it is not matching the font in an Adobe Illustrator file that someone sent me. Thanks!
Regular, Semi-Bold; all fonts may be used in italics. This font is elegant and extremely readable. Paring well with Acumin, it can often be used to highlight and emphasize copy, as well as caption photographs.
