Good morning Eco Champions!
On a slightly grey day I thought we would think ahead to a hopefully lovely May! No Mow May is an important action for pollinators and plants alike and I want to encourage you in advance to pledge to leave an area to grow for at least May to allow pollinators to feed and plants to flower. Even better if you can leave it until the plants have seeded.
Last year at Flourish House (Diocesan offices) we left an area unmown all summer and had some scabious come up which were beautiful. A reminder to me that even a small area can have beneficial impacts.
We would love to see your photos from last year or later on when you can.
