Apple has determined that, in a limited number of older generation 15-inch MacBook Pro units, the battery may overheat and pose a fire safety risk. Affected units were sold primarily between September 2015 and February 2017 and product eligibility is determined by the product serial number.

First check to see which 15-inch MacBook Pro you have. Choose About This Mac from the Apple menu () in the upper-left corner of your screen. Confirm your model is "MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)." If you have that model, enter your computer's serial number below to see if it is eligible for this program.

Choose one of the service options below to have your battery replaced. Your MacBook Pro will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program. Service may take 3-5 days.

The new MacBook Air features a spacious, high-resolution 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, so users can see even more content. With up to 500 nits of brightness and support for 1 billion colors, the brilliant Liquid Retina display makes content look remarkably rich and vibrant, and text razor sharp. It is also twice the resolution and 25 percent brighter than a comparable PC laptop.2

The 1080p FaceTime HD camera on MacBook Air is perfect for FaceTime calls and video conferencing. Combined with the processing power of the advanced image signal processor on M2, users will look great on video calls. A three-mic array captures clean audio using advanced beamforming algorithms, so users come through loud and clear on video calls.

The design of the new 15-inch MacBook Air also features a phenomenal new six-speaker sound system with two tweeters and two sets of force-cancelling woofers. The new speakers deliver twice the bass depth for fuller sound, and Spatial Audio with support for Dolby Atmos provides immersive experiences whether listening to music or watching movies.

macOS Sonoma, coming this fall, makes the Mac experience more delightful and productive than ever, including new ways to personalize with widgets and stunning screen savers, an optimized gaming experience with Game Mode, powerful video conferencing capabilities, a big update to Safari, and more.

Today, Apple is carbon neutral for global corporate operations, and is focused on its Apple 2030 goal to make every product carbon neutral. This means every Mac Apple creates, from design to manufacturing to customer use, will have net-zero climate impact.

Spoiler alert: the new M3 MacBook Air can indeed handle my workflow, which includes editing 4K videos on Final Cut Pro, editing photos in Adobe Lightroom, and typing words into a CMS on Safari, usually with Slack and Spotify running in the background.

This 15-inch model weighs 3.3 pounds, which is 1.6 pounds lighter than the 16-inch MacBook Pro. It may not sound like a lot, but if you walk 12,000 steps a day with your laptop in a backpack along with camera gear, every pound cut matters. My backpack immediately felt lighter when I took out the 16-inch Pro and swapped it with the 15-inch Air. Even the backpack straps do not dig into my shoulders as much.

Of course, there are creative professionals whose workflow are more complicated than mine, like a 3D graphics artist, or a professional videographer who edits 8K video, or do major color grading to LOG files. For them, they may still need the MacBook Pro. But for the majority of people, the Air really is enough.

Charging can be done via either of the two USB-C ports, and the MagSafe port. The laptop charges at a maximum speed of about 70W. Those two USB-C ports can now also output to two external monitors, which previous M-powered MacBook Airs could not.

That wasn't always the case. The Intel MacBook Airs of years past were perfectly fine for basic computing, but you could feel the difference between an Air and an iMac or MacBook Pro as soon as you tried to edit something in Photoshop or Lightroom or export something with iMovie. The M1 and M2 Macs also feel slower than their Pro, Max, and Ultra counterparts, but for the kinds of light-to-medium-duty work that I spend most of my time doing, I rarely find myself waiting around for things to happen.

Those things are all perfectly nice to have, but they add extra weight, and they're overkill for many people who might otherwise be interested in a larger-than-13-inch screen. The 15-inch MacBook Air is for those people.

The 15-inch MacBook Air isn't totally identical to the 13-inch M2 MacBook Air that Apple released nearly a year ago, but it's pretty close. Like the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus or the 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pros, the 15-inch Air shares nearly everything with its smaller sibling except for its size and its price.

The new MacBook Air's screen is obviously the biggest departure from the 13.6-inch M2 Air. The 15.3-inch, 28801864 display has the same 224 PPI density as the 13-inch Air, and an aspect ratio of roughly (but not exactly) 3:2. Although the resolution and density are lower than those on either the 14- or 16-inch MacBook Pro, the screen has nearly the same density as every other Retina MacBook Air and Pro that Apple has ever released, so it's not going to feel like a downgrade for most people.

It also boasts DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a peak brightness of 520 nits (as measured by our i1 DisplayPro colorimeter). It's not a mini LED panel, and you don't get HDR support or the high 120 Hz ProMotion refresh rates you get from a MacBook Pro, but it matches or slightly exceeds the display quality of every other MacBook that Apple has released in the last few years.

Per usual for Macs these days, the 15-inch Air ships using a non-native display resolution (in this case, 34202214), leaning on macOS's scaling technology and the relatively high pixel density to keep things from looking too fuzzy. Things look fine to my eyes no matter which of the display modes you're using; I normally use the "more space" display option, which renders at 38402486, and all the "larger text" options are great for people who like using bigger screens because they have trouble reading tiny text.

A 1-inch layer of adaptable foam adds a subtle bounce, making shifting positions throughout the night effortless. This transition layer also absorbs fluctuation from the coils below, so you can sleep peacefully even if your partner moves or gets out of bed.

I went...with the plush full size option, normally I like firm but obviously I have no idea what i should be using because I was sleeping in pain. I also got the adjustable base. I was able to move both upstairs and put together easily and quickly, just followed the instructions. In all reality the moving of the base and/or mattress is a 2 person operation, these aren't light boxes.

I sleep like I'm on a cloud, plush is not too plush. I have 0 pain. I sleep like a normal person should sleep, where I am able to feel rested and ready to go. My only regret is not buying this sooner.

As an inveterate side sleeper, I have been reluctant to give up on my former mattress for many years. A trusted friend pointed me to Nolah, who tout their products...for such sleepers. On top of my friend's recommendation, when I got to "Made in USA," my interest amped up.

But it gets better. I had pre-order and pre-delivery questions, all of which were answered professionally and courteously. Over and above all that were a few courtesy calls and emails, thanking me for my business.

And, oh yes, the mattress. My prefacing with a very positive review of the intangibles is my saving the best for last. The Evolution 15 mattress is simply superb. I could not be happier. If I count my big toes too, I give it four thumbs up. Very well done, Nolah.

I was very skeptical when I watched the reviews of this mattress on you tube, I must have watched 10 different reviews on the Nolan Evolution . I finally decided...to give it a try, I am so happy I did, after a week of sleeping on this mattress , my shoulder pain is virtually gone. It is definitely worth the money!

For extra cooling and comfort, we added a highly-breathable gusset around the top edge of the mattress. Body heat escapes through the gusset while fresh air flows in, preventing humidity within the mattress.

Every Nolah mattress purchase includes a 120-night at-home sleep trial. If, against all expectations, you don't love your mattress, you can return it for a full refund. Our logistics partner will pick up the mattress; you're only responsible for a $99 flat fee to cover labor and one-way transportation.

If you wish to return your mattress, please use the email form on our Contact page or email us at sup...@nolahmattress.com. To qualify for a full refund, you must initiate the return process after the 30-night break-in period but before the 120-night trial expires.

1. Submit Request: Please use the email form on our Contact page or email us at sup...@nolahmattress.com to request a return. We cannot process returns over the phone or live chat, only through email. Once your request is received, a member of our customer support team will reach out to walk you through the rest of the process.

2. Schedule Pick-Up: We'll set up the scheduled mattress pick-up with one of our third-party logistics partners. The $99 flat fee (deducted from your refund) covers the pick-up and transportation. When possible, we arrange for the mattress to be donated to a local charity or mattress recycling program, depending on your state's laws.

3. Day of Pick-Up: Our support team member will provide instructions on what to do on the scheduled pick-up day. Typically, you leave the mattress unboxed for pick-up, and the driver does the rest. Then, email us a scan or digital photo of the pick-up receipt.

Once you place your mattress order, we ship it out quickly from our factory in Arizona. You'll see an estimated timeline for when your mattress will leave the facility below the "Add to Cart" button on this page.

We partner with Load Up, a local third-party logistics partner, to offer white glove mattress removal and setup. You can choose from three service options: mattress removal only, mattress setup only, or our removal and setup package. For $225, the package also includes complete setup of a new Nolah foundation or adjustable base. Base or foundation setup is not available with mattress removal or setup only.
