@ben There seems to be a related bug where it is difficult or impossible to load in a custom OTF font file for the dropdown menu font (specifically, the one inside the popup window). I have tried doing so via the Text TOPs in dropDownMenu/dropmenu0/config, as well as inside the popMenu, and none seem to update it.

The font also appears to load correctly in the Text TOPs within the Widget, in which I am referencing above (the ones in the dropDownMenu/dropmenu0/config COMP); that is to say, it does load if I specify it via Font File.

Deutsche Telekom is taking a number of comprehensive measures to future-proof its brand and is thus addressing the changes taking place in society and technology by revamping brand elements as they apply to various areas. These measures will ensure the continued recognition of the brand across all contact points in an expanding digital world and provide the basis for a coherent brand experience.

The first step was taken last year with the definition of a new audio identity for Deutsche Telekom. Now, more than ever before, brands are recognized to a higher degree through voices, sounds and signal tones. Thus the familiar Deutsche Telekom sound logo was revamped and functional sounds derived from its acoustic environment.

The new TeleNeo typeface was designed especially for Deutsche Telekom and replaces the former Group font. TeleNeo features many optimized typographical details and projects a much stronger brand character in line with contemporary trends. This typeface is also a technical update for the variable font format needed for many future virtual applications such as VR and AR. For example, variable fonts can interact with users or be viewed in three-dimensional space from various perspectives.

There is nothing as exhilarating as spending three jam-packed days surrounded by friends old and new, learning with each other and from one another at Adobe MAX. Read on for our thoughts after the event.

In this article, get a peek at recent and upcoming book releases in a variety of genres to get a sense of what typography styles are trending in publishing right now. This post is a guest piece from our friends at Reedsy, a website that connects authors with publishing professionals.

As a disclaimer: There are no big secrets here, no giant revelations from my 20 years of design and type experience, but it may be helpful to see how someone else goes about the process of narrowing down their font options. Once you start giving focused thought and deliberate time to choosing fonts, your choices will get better.

The MBS television network (abbreviated on-screen as MBS-TV) was launched on April 5, 1948 alongside its first station in Los Angeles, KMBQ-TV (now KMBS-TV). Its flagship station in New York City, WMBS-TV, launched a year later. The cross motif was borrowed from the radio network's logo, and "tv" signifies usage by the television network.

The font was borrowed from the radio network's logo that year, and the cross was made thicker to match that of the letters. The background was taken from DuMont, which closed a year earlier and whose programs migrated to MBS in its wake.

This logo was designed by Lippincott & Margulies in 1965 and introduced on September 19 that year, after the completion of its color television tests. The logo is an M closed by an extra line segment. The five points represent the five networks that existed up to the logo's introduction, which includes DuMont. It can be broken down into 3 right isosceles triangles, representing the 3 phosphors of color television. The cross-shaped joining of these triangles also pays homage to the logos from 1948 and 1957. A new jingle (A-C-G-D) was also introduced.

This logo was introduced along with the current symbol. The wordmark is in Helvetica. It was retired as part of the radio network's logo change in 1972. It was brought back after the radio network's closure and the TV network's spin-off from Westwood One in 1999. It was retired once again in 2017 as part of a rebrand.

As part of a logo change of the radio network in 1972, MBS switched its font to Harry Fat and colored the Pentagon teal. In 1974, the famous "Bee-Doop" cue was introduced. Up until the radio network's closure in 1999, the font of the television network logo's wordmark depended on the logo of the radio network's logo.

At the start of the 2017-18 season, a new logo was introduced along with new presentation, created by Troika Design Group. A bespoke font, Elson, was designed for MBS by Fontsmith. The wordmark changed from Helvetica to Elson. A signature color was introduced as well, known as Biscay, was created by mixing previous logos' colors weighted by their length of use.

On December 25, 2020, T-Media North America unveiled rebrands for its channels, including MBS, using the TeleNeo font. This logo was launched at the start of the spring 2021 season. The color Biscay is kept for the rebrand.

Can anyone help me by this situation. I create new font, in extention part of ascii I write some symbols. When I use my created font labview don't display that symbols, in string indicator it display other symbol. For example I riplace A by alfa, but in labview it display A. Or in Ascii 185 code I write delta simbol, but string return other symbol. I attach 3 screenshots.

How are you converting the symbols in your code? It is a little unclear as you are building an array in the For Loop of numbers and then converting them to a String. Is this the code that is not changing in? It seems to me that that is the proper execution of the code you have written.

Thanks for responding. When I change region sentings in English(USA) it's works, but when I using Russian(Russia) it's not work. What's difference? I write symbols in ASCII part, i.e. symbol codes are in 0-255.

Actually you should not use the "DOS: " fonts to compare what LabVIEW uses. The DOS correspond to the so called OEM code tables. LabVIEW as a Windows GUI application uses the ANSI code tables and they correspond to the "Windows: " selections. The OEM code tables are under Windows normally only used by command line tools.

And if you set your local system to Russian you will indeed default to the Cyrillic or some other similar variant of the ANSI code tables in your Windows. You can overwrite what the default for your language setting should be but that will change for all applications what they will show for the extended ASCII codes on your computer.

Just come across this issue myself. Found a resolve, not sure if this will work for everyone. I was trying to edit a PDF that was using the Calibri font which I didn't have on my macbook. I then went and downloaded it using an external website but I couldn't use in it Acrobat. Acrobat uses fonts from 'Adobe Fonts' since the newest CC update. I found and downlaoded the font on Adobe Fonts and its now working.

Thanks for your input. Sorry, but I don't follow the suggestion. When I try to edit any text in the document, I am unable to select the "Officina Sans ITC Book" option. It appears at the bottom of the drop down list of fonts, but is grey and "frozen out" - and can not be selected.

I am having the same issue. Our college uses Myriad Pro Regular. I could edit this same document last year before my computer was updated this summer. Now I'm having this issue and I don't see any fix on this so far.

Having same issue. Did a recent Creative Cloud update and although Acrobat wasn't in the update, I now cannot type with Open Sans Condensed on the document that I just typed with that font in Acrobat last week. It's not just this font either. Word types with it fine, Fontbook says the font is fine. Acrobat will actually edit the text of the first line of my old document in Open Sans Condensed until I hit a carriage return then it gives me that same error message that the original font is not available and using Geneva in its place. Very odd that font won't work. I downloaded a version of the font and re-installed, even changed the name of it, but to no use. Stuck in font prison and can't text my way out. Send help.

Ever get a fix? I have the same issue. I have a PDF that I have to fill out 3 times (slightly different) every 2 weeks. Most of the info is the same. We just edit dates and times in about 30 different locations. I get, "The origianl font Arial is not available or can't be used in editing. Adobe Acrobat is using the fong Z...@R9366.tmp in its place." Then instead of an actual font I have just squares.
