First-Of-Its Kind Dinosaur Eggshell Find Could Lead To T. Rex Nest Near Lusk
The first dinosaur eggshell ever found from the Lance Formation in Niobrara County has paleontologists excited. They believe it came from a Tyrannosaurus rex nursery and that full eggs are still buried there.

Move Over, Beavers. Dinosaurs Might Also Have Been Nature’s Engineers
Late Cretaceous dinosaurs may have cut back vegetation, creating large floodplains. When the asteroid hit, those floodplains became forests, a new study argues.

Project that needs funding:
Reassessing the evolutionary family tree and biogeography of the iconic sauropod group Diplodocoidea

We are working on a special open-access volume dedicated to the famed diplodocoid sauropods (like Diplodocus). We aim to publish several papers describing their anatomy, osteology, evolutionary relationships, biogeography, and more. This project will result in publicly available datasets coupled with all the contributing papers being free to access. Thereby, we’ll contribute to Open Science, which is crucial towards sharing data around the world and providing resources for other scientists.

Interesting that they are recognizing it may not be Tyrannosaurus. Could be Nano, Stygi, or other basal eutyrannosaur. Wonder what level of Lance eggshell is from. If low and is Tyrannosaurus is T. imperator, if high T. rex or regina.
