The braincase and endocranial anatomies exhibit intermediate and derived features that support the inclusion of this taxon among basal coelurosaurs. The reconstructed neuroanatomy suggests this theropod was an agile bipedal predator with hearing and balance capabilities matching the range of coeval hunting coelurosaurs.
