Hi guys!

Haven't seen one post on the list for ages and the site seems to be
down. Is the group still ok and taking a break or you're giving up?

Thanks.

And Best Wishes for 2009!

Happy 2009 to all!

the list has been quiet as of late. You philosophers in Shanghai
should find speakers or volunteer to speak on a tech topic.
There are endless interesting topics to talk about. Anybody want to volunteer?

The site is back up.

Hi, happy new year to all,

I think I can speak on sharepoint products and technolgy.

SharePoint is a collaboration and information managment platform.

It can be use for enterprise collaboration, light project management,
documents managment, business intelligences, CMS, enterprise search and more..
The great thing is, it is highly customerizable and can serve as a platform for
further development.

I will be avaible on the 17th of January 2009.

Best wishes to all,
Leonard.

Oops I woke up the wrong guy ;-)

I thought you were more about Open Source technologies...

Glad to see the site back up, it had been down for really a while, and
good to see people volunteering - very important in a community!

Enjoy the holidays.

Happy new year, everybody!

While I cannot speak for the group as a whole, I myself can say that I
am not only interested in Open Source technologies. I do favor Open
Source and have contributed to OS projects myself, but think that
there's a place for commercial Closed Source software as well.

So, Leonard, I would absolutely be interested in hearing about
SharePoint technologies, even if it's from Microsoft ;-)

Jan 17th is a Saturday, right? Personally I'd prefer on a Tuesday
night at Arch.

Ditto to everything Arne says, esp. wishing all DP'ers a Happy New Year!

As to dates, however, I would vote for Wed. nights personally.

Looking forward to our next get together!

Hi dinning philosophers,

Sorry for the silence.

Something showed up during the week and I had to travel to Singapore.

I forget about our SharePoint talk. Since the date was not yet fix, I hope that has

not cause alot of problems on your schedules.  We will schedule a different date and time when I return. Hope many people show up at the talk .

Best wishes,
Leonard.
