Freeflying, Ubuntu China community manager (retired now) and myself
(retired Beijing LUG President) will be visiting Shanghai tomorrow
evening and we're thinking to meet up with you guys. We're contacting
Shlug members who could be interested as well and hope to make an adhoc
meeting just to talk about...the state of Linux User Groups in China and
in Shanghai.
In reality we're heading to Changshu (about 2 hours drive from Shanghai)
to Lemote office, and you'll have to confirm the meeting before 2pm and
tell us where to go. Else we'll miss a nice opportunity to meet.
We decided to come today so couldn't let you know earlier, however I
still feel even if it's only a bunch of us it'd be really nice. We've
had a SHLUG core member the whole week in Beijing (I guess he is back in
Shanghai now) and it was nice to exchange things. We met twice!
So if you guys are up to it, we'll come and drop by.
Thanks.
Fred
Beijing LUG
We'll be there then. I think some Shlug members as well, so definitely
worth showing up!
Aren't the best events the unplanned ones? ;-)
Thanks
Fred
