The Type 0287 is a servo-assisted 2/2-way valve. The modular stackable valve can be obtained as a distributor or collector version in DN 13. It is suitable for neutral media, such as compressed air or water.
Three industrially relevant fed-batch algorithms were applied to the production of recombinant proteins in Escherichia coli BL21 DE3. Starvation dissolved-oxygen (DO)-transient control sustained growth rates greater than those in pH-stat (0.16 h(-1) versus 0.11-0.13 h(-1)) while feed-up DO-transient control better tracked the measured threshold for acetate production (mu approximately 0.2 h(-1)). All controllers supported growth without acetate production, resulting in end concentrations of recombinant protein up to 20 times greater than in batch culture. Both DO-transient control systems were judged superior to pH-stat for their ability to detect and track the acetate threshold. Results also showed that although high cell density at the stationary phase is desirable, this parameter may be dictated by the choice of media and reactor design as opposed to controller type. Controller selection, however, has a great impact on the capacity to track the acetate threshold and therefore to enhance productivity without concomitant acetate production.
CN-0287 is a completely isolated 4-channel temperature measurement circuit optimized for performance, input flexibility, robustness, and low cost. It supports all types of thermocouples with cold junction compensation and any type of RTD (resistance temperature detector) with resistances up to 4 kΩ for 2-, 3-, or 4-wire connection configurations.
NOTE: It is recommended that you install the CN0287 Evaluation Software to the default directory path C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\CN0287\ and all National Instruments products to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\
NOTE: Make change based on the default settling on the Advanced Setting pop-up window when clearly know the meaning and effect of the configuration. It is recommended to read ad7193 Datasheet and CN0287 Circuit Note for more details.
Flashing the firmware to the keyboard was a little harder to figure out. Eventually I found some instructions that included the correct avrdude flagson hackaday.io , you also need to use a switch pulling RST down to GND to put the micro controller in programming mode.
So last evening I was prompted to update the firmware on the Play controllers, which I did.
Once done, I then went for a ride with one of the Robopacers. During the ride I used one of the direction keys on the left controller to bring up the context menu. The moment I touched the direction key the left brake engaged bringing me to a rapid halt. No amount of fiddling with the controls would release the brake. The only thing I could so was to turn off the left controller and then continue my ride.
I have no issues whatsoever with the right hand controller - this seems to be behaving itself, but the left one is a non-starter.
