Welcome to the forum, @Borewicz79! The answer is: it depends on whether you're using a 1password.com account or a standalone vault. If it's the former, files are uploaded as Documents, and you can link to them from any other entry or add them directly as new items with links. If you've got an existing credit card item you want to add a photo to, click Edit then scroll down to Related Items and click Add New. Navigate in the pop-up window to the image file of your credit card, and it will be imported as a new document, with a link in the credit card record. Don't forget to click Save.
Ah, it looks like you added a custom icon to that mBank EuroMax item. To do that, you go into Edit mode, then double click on the area that has the icon, and it should bring up an image tool where you can choose a photo to add as the custom icon.

I've seen similar requests coming from foreign sites/companies just because of how they handle credit card payments.Think of credit cards imprinters. Some countries/merchants still use them and somehow they assume that an image of the credit card could be just as valid.
In the situations where I've come across this type of request, I have opted to send payment either via Wire transfer, Paypal or similar services. They were wholesale orders where the card could not be charged until the product was manufactured, etc.
The PCI security standard, with which any legit merchant will have to comply as part of their merchant account agreement, would require that a photo of the front of a card would have to be transferred using a secure, encrypted upload facility, stored encrypted at the merchant end, and, in the case of Amex cards which have the Card Security Code on the front, securely deleted after the transaction was authorised. It's very unlikely they've managed to get all this right, and if they asked you to send the photo through mail (or MMS etc) then clearly that could not be compliant.
No it's not standard practice - in no way, shape or form does sending a photo of your credit card confirm your identity at all. Ignoring the fact that photos can easily be photoshopped, the fact that you physically possess a credit card certainly does not prove that you are who you say you are.
They tell you to cover most of the information on your card. They just want the last 4 digits, the expiration date, the picture, and your address. They wouldn't be able to do much with that: just a verification of who you are.
Yep it does look like its gone. The link used to be on my SavorOne but never worked and my QuickSilver used to be a Platinum so it has a custom image but the option is gone there too. Searching for change card image doesn't bring it up either.
I was wondering about this as well. When I requested for an AU, they printed the same custom card I have. I was looking to get it changed, but I could not find the link to do it. When I use an old link, If gives me an error.
I don't see it either. I have an all black Savor card. I like to change them when they expire. If I don't get them in time, they send me the same card then I have to change the design and another new card comes my way.
I've had my same card image for 5 years now and my expiration is coming up in a few months. Really tired of that image now haha, was just hoping to put something new on there before the new card came with the same image. I wonder if it will even still have that image or if it will just be a stock card at this point.
"I got my card when I had an emergency with one of my horses. I had a vet bill that was rather large and I used my card to help pay that bill. Just today, I have put my card to use again. Another horse, another emergency and another vet bill. I will be mailing the statement and the card number to my vet in the next mail. It has helped me when things were tight especially with my horses. They can always seem to get into trouble in a hurry.
Wells Fargo also lets customers personalize their credit cards. But instead of limiting them to choosing existing designs, they can tailor the look of their cards by uploading photos or submitting designs they personally created.
