The problem with your code is probably that you aren't assigning anything to pnNodes. In VBA, that's okay because it's strongly-typed as an Integer which means it's given a default value of 0 implicitly. In VBScript, it's not given a default value because there is no type. You could assign it a 0 ahead of time and it would probably work:

In Staad, I am trying to model corrosion on a structural member. I have used section builder to recreate a section mimicking a section loss. I have then exported this through section builder and saved this with a .upt extension and then gone into staad/tools/createuser table/new table and then selected my newly created section property manually and stated if it is a angle/WF etc. I have cross checked the section properties to see the correct Ax etc displayed. This process works successfully during the time the project file is running.

The problem I have is that if i switch off my machine or look at different models and then go back to this same model it will come up with errors and say something like ' errors found in input file. would you like to edit the input file?'. The error given in the input file is 'error, user table property name is not valid. command ignored. Error line (390): 807 814 821 UPTABLE 7 P118'

It then lists the same error for each subsequent property I have created. The member is still in staad. i.e. member 807 is still there but not property is displayed and then it crashes if i double click on the member to investigate it. The only solution I have is to go back to another version of the model and manually amend the section properties once again.

Streamline multi-discipline team collaboration through broad interoperability with Bentley desktop and cloud and mobile applications like OpenBuildings Designer, AutoPIPE, Revit, and Tekla. Optimize concrete and steel BIM workflows with the full integration of physical members and surfaces. View and edit models from mobile devices.

Further, it is important to choose software that will help structural engineers conform to regulatory codes and ensure safety. Structural engineering software helps users save time and ensure accuracy, which is vital when dealing with structure stability and strength.

STAAD is a popular structural analysis application known for advanced analysis, diverse applications of use, interoperability, and time-saving capabilities. STAAD helps structural engineers perform 3D structural analysis and design for both steel and concrete structures. A physical model created in the structural design software can be transformed into an analytical model for structural analysis. Many design code standards are incorporated into STAAD to make sure that the structural design complies with local regulations.

What software products are included in Structural WorkSuite?
Structural WorkSuite eliminates concerns about product-by-product license availability by combining individually priced applications into a single bundle. It helps engineers on tight budgets take advantage of comprehensive workflows rather than being stuck with the inefficiencies and limitations of partial workflows. Each Structural WorkSuite user can employ all applications within the software package with no extra fees. Learn more.

What design codes are in STAAD?
Many design code standards are incorporated into STAAD to make sure that the structural design complies with local regulations. Some of these codes include:

1 GB minimum, 2 GB recommended. Additional memory potentially improves performance, particularly when working with larger models. 4 GB or more can help speed up solutions for very large complex models with large numbers of load cases.

Although thoracic aortic aneurysms and dissections (TAAD) can be inherited as a single-gene disorder, the genetic predisposition in the majority of affected people is poorly understood. In a multistage genome-wide association study (GWAS), we compared 765 individuals who had sporadic TAAD (STAAD) with 874 controls and identified common SNPs at a 15q21.1 locus that were associated with STAAD, with odds ratios of 1.6-1.8 that achieved genome-wide significance. We followed up 107 SNPs associated with STAAD with P < 1 10(-5) in the region, in two separate STAAD cohorts. The associated SNPs fall into a large region of linkage disequilibrium encompassing FBN1, which encodes fibrillin-1. FBN1 mutations cause Marfan syndrome, whose major cardiovascular complication is TAAD. This study shows that common genetic variants at 15q21.1 that probably act via FBN1 are associated with STAAD, suggesting a common pathogenesis of aortic disease in Marfan syndrome and STAAD.

Staad BV recently delivered a new Doosan DX140W-5 to Jeroen van den Braak Graafmachineverhuur from Vinkel. Jeroen van den Braak about the new purchase; "My previous machine had already been a Doosan DX140 delivered by Staad, which has always performed well. So I didn't go very far in the search for a new machine. I also had this investment supplied by Staad with great confidence. This new Doosan DX140W-5 is of course just a bit more comfortable and luxurious. The way in which you are guided at Staad in the purchase process, with clear explanations, good agreements about the construction options, that's just fine doing business. If I ever meet the service men If you need them, they are there quickly and with the right material and the right knowledge, that is really great work. I really have nothing to complain about, I am extremely satisfied with this new Doosan DX140W-5."

Staad Groep is the official importer and dealer of Doosan earth-moving machines. We offer you optimal performing machines that help our customers to be successful. This is possible with new, used or rental machines, but we would also like to be your partner for service, maintenance, parts and financing issues.

Additionally, STAAD.Pro is interoperable with applications such as RAM Connection, AutoPIPE, SACS and many more engineering design and analysis applications to further improve collaboration between the different disciplines involved in a project. STAAD can be used for analysis and design of all types of structural projects from plants, buildings, and bridges to towers, tunnels, metro stations, water/wastewater treatment plants and more.

This leads to the generation of many live load application instances (and a large volume of output data) that then must be combined with dead load and other effects, as well. Bridge Deck is used to minimize the load application process while complying with national code requirements.

STAAD.Pro will automatically generate influence surfaces for effects such as bending moments for elements, deflection in all the degrees of freedom of nodes, and support reactions. The user then instruct the program to utilize the relevant influence surfaces and, with due regards to code requirements, optimize load positions to obtain the maximum desired effects.

The STAAD.Pro Advanced Slab Design workflow is an integrated tool that works from within the STAAD.Pro environment. Concrete slabs can be defined, and the data can be transferred to RAM Concept. The data passed into RAM Concept includes the geometry, section and material properties, loads and combination information, and analysis results.

OpenSTAAD allows engineers and other users to link in-house or third-party applications with STAAD.Pro. For example, a user might create a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel to analyze and design a circular base plate using support reactions from STAAD. With OpenSTAAD, a simple macro can be written in Excel to retrieve the appropriate STAAD data and automatically link the results. If the STAAD file changes, so will the Excel sheet! OpenSTAAD is currently being designed to work on the new .NET platform as well as on PocketPCs running Windows CE.

With OpenSTAAD 2.0 and later, users can also write their own VBA-based macros within STAAD and have access to functions controlling the geometry, viewing, and results display. For example, you can create macros to insert your own connection design routine which can run using the output from a STAAD run and automatically add it to the STAAD output.
