Bloody Mary Dragon Fruit is the common red-fleshed variety that comes from the genus Hylocereus and the species polyrhizus. It is known for being a super fruit, having high antioxidants due to its deep red flesh. The plant is strong branching and tolerates heat well. The stems are approximately 19 to 16 inches across, clinging to tree trunks by many aerial roots. As stems emerge, they are often reddish when new, then turn waxy, blue-white, and later green. Also, the ribs of the stem are deeper, to begin with, but as the stems mature, they become thicker. Mature plants produce 15-inch long blooms with white petals and red and yellow outer petals. Flower budding to flower takes 30 days, and another 30 days from flower to fruit. The natural habitat occurs in Colombia and Panama, where the average annual temperature ranges from 73 to 81 degrees Fahrenheit. This variety was acquired from a grower in Texas.

One of the best things you can do in the spiritual life is consecrate yourself to the Virgin Mary. Nobody knows Jesus better than Mary and, as our spiritual mother, her greatest desire is to bring us closer to Jesus.

With his experience and heart bringing us into The Fruit of Her Womb, Father Boniface Hicks, as a skilled cardiac-soul surgeon, accompanies us into the meaning of the refuge and life of the Immaculate and Sacred Hearts.

There are no words to adequately describe how much this consecration means to me. Let Fr. Boniface guide you on a healing journey from the fruitlessness of self-reliance to the fruitful surrender to a loving Mother who cares for all we need in the paradise of her womb.

I adore fruitcake in any permutation so when I stumbled on this recipe I knew I needed to give it a bash. You stir everything together easily by hand and if you like butter on your fruit bread, this is the perfect vessel in which to enjoy it.

Such a delicious and refreshing summer fruit salad! The fruit tastes better each day as it absorbs the dressing, along with the juices of the other fruits! It made a lot, and stated fresh for 4+ days.

Just made this for my family for the next couple of days to have. OMG! It is so good. I love that you can mix and match what fruit you want to put in it. This will 100% be something that is in rotation for us, especially since we live in Florida. So simple. So easy. So good.

Melt the butters in a cast iron or regular skillet till foam subsides and add the fruit, cut side down. Let it cook for at least 5 minutes, making sure the cut sides get charred. Place the hot fruit on a big plate and let cool a little, then crumble the cheese mixture over. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a little olive oil and be amazed at how good burnt fruit can be. This also works on the grill, and is easy to take camping. Yum!

Kiwis are wind pollinated and despite the paucity of male flowers, pollination was successful; the baby kiwis are noticeably bigger than they were 5 days ago. Hardy kiwis produce grape sized fruit with smooth skins which ripen in late September or October.

I was hoping for a lot of fruit in 2008, and the females cooperated by producing a lot more flowers in their second year of bloom. Unfortunately the male produced zero flowers. It seemed a common problem; the only other person I know with hardy kiwis reported almost no blossoms on his males. No male flowers mean no fruit.

2009 was very cool and extremely wet through the spring and summer. The male kiwi produced around 6 flowers. The females also bloomed lightly, so I was surprised to find a couple of pounds of fruit in October. With all the rain, and with almost no fruit, all the vines grew prolifically and needed pruning every week.

A bright and delicious summer gluten free fruit crisp is the perfect end to a BBQ meal with friends, a day by the lake, or to brighten your mood whenever. I recently made this recipe using berries for a 4th of July BBQ, and it was a huge hit! Even more so for breakfast the following morning ?

Butter your baking dish and spread the fruit mixture evenly in the dish. Then sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the fruit mixture. Bake at 350F for about 30-35 minutes, until fruit mixture is bubbly and top is golden brown and firm. Let it cool a bit and serve warm enough to melt the ice cream. You can also use Coconut Bliss dairy free ice cream.

Never got a single peach. Total peach leaf curl disease magnet. Frost produced for a few years before succumbing to disease. Oregon curl free still producing peaches after 18 years in a not ideal site

I've had this tree five yrs. and it has produced the last 2 yrs., but this yr. I bagged the fruit in mesh because they are big and beautiful and plentiful. I've had bugs attack it and it is still going unlike a weaker peach tree I got from a local nursery. They are a little hard until they ripen fully. It's growing in a hot dry climate zone 9A Northern CA.

While I would not sign up to walk 100km myself, I do think it is an excellent cause and would like to help them out by doing my bit to raise donations. So this loaf cake is one of many treats my office will be enjoying over the next two weeks (in exchange for a donation). A simple cake, dotted with dried apricots, it is nonetheless delicious and something different from the standard current and sultana fruit cake.

Break the eggs into a large bowl and beat briefly. Measure the remaining cake ingredients into the bowl and beat well until the mixture is smooth. Stir in cherries and pour into the prepared tin. Smooth over and pop into the oven.

While the cake cools, make the icing by warming the apricot jam and water together until smooth, then sift in the icing sugar and stir briskly until combined. Spread over the cooled cake and decorate with the remaining chopped apricots as desired.

The second figure sits beside her, rendered in profile view, wearing a dress with a blue floral pattern complemented by a lace-fringed white collar and cuffs. This seated woman dons a hat adorned with ribbons that frame her face, and she seems to be in the act of eating, with one hand near her mouth and the other resting on her lap, holding a piece of fruit. The expressions and demeanor of the women exude a sense of calm attentiveness to their task.

The tower of the Virgin Mary, over the Temple apse, currently stands 110.65 metres tall and will be 138 when complete. It has eighteen levels of tensioned-stone panels already in place and construction will soon begin on its pinnacle. At the same time, the finishing touches have to be put on the rest of this part of the Temple, which have been on hold while the tower was being built. One of these is the pinnacles on the apse pediments.
