I installed and configured the pkcs11 forwarding mechanism cited ion the link in the initial answer. It works as expected. A couple of minor issues with packages and versions that contained the correct libraries, and some learning about the systemd run-user feature were my only obstacles. The ability of ssh to forward unix sockets an impressive feature. When setup I could use a local socket for pkcs11-tool commands to query and sign requests using the HSM stored secrets on a separate host. Thank you for the idea.
Any luck? I've opened a ticket with HPE for the same issue. I first tried the latest PSP but that failed when clicking the 'link' funciton. I then tried the SPP-VUP version and it also failed. HP didn't seem to have any ideas.
There are notes for other lenses on the chart linked above that inform us which lenses currently have firmware updates available. There's no such note for the D5600 and that lens as of June 14, 2018. There's no update for that lens included in this list of currently available updates for Sigma 'Global Vision' lenses. I could also find no reference to a news release regarding Sigma issuing a lens firmware update for that lens.
