Dillo always worked great for searching wikipedia but here are some more tried and tested search engines for dillo. Give them a go, you may like them more than you think! :)

Wiby is an alternative search engine for lite style webpages. It seems like a great match for dillo and also helps you find some stranger things you may not have found any other way.

search_url="Wiby https://wiby.me/?q=%s"

AOL search works well on dillo without being too heavy on bandwidth:

search_url="https://search.aol.com/aol/search?q=%s&ei=UTF-8&nojs=1"

I used to use this a lot but it's a bit heavier:

search_url="Startpage (https) https://www.startpage.com/do/search?query=%s"

This works really well for searching for music lyrics:

search_url="AZlyrics https://search.azlyrics.com/search.php?q=%s"

Arch Wiki is always useful whether you use Arch or not:

search_url="Arch Wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?search=%s"

Source Forge:

search_url="SourceForge https://sourceforge.net/directory/?q=%s"

Text files:

search_url="Text Search https://www.startpage.com/do/search?query=filetype:txt+%s"
