Subject: Don't Miss this Greenhouse and Controlled Environment Agriculture Workshop

From your friends at Growers Supply: We thought you would like to learn about this opportunity.

Growers Supply
Grow Year Round Workshop

Attention farmers, gardeners and anyone else who is considering growing food for local markets. Controlled environment agriculture allows you to grow premium quality crops all year long. You can produce a substantial amount of food in a small space using techniques such as aquaponics and hydroponics in a controlled environment. In this two-day comprehensive workshop, you'll learn about techniques and methods to grow fresh food, sustainably, year round.

You will see Growers Supply greenhouses that demonstrate various methods of cooling, heating, energy efficiency and natural ventilation.  If you are considering buying a greenhouse but would like to understand greenhouse designs and equipment options, this workshop will benefit you.  Plus, you'll learn about innovative food growing methods that can produce income for you and your family from industry veterans John Pade and Rebecca Nelson, owners of Nelson and Pade, Inc., and other industry experts.

Morning sessions are held in a classroom. Presentations are interesting and dynamic. Attendee questions and participation is encouraged. Afternoon sessions are held in Nelson and Pade, Inc.'s demonstration greenhouse. Attendees will be able to practice what is taught. Activities include fish feeding, greenhouse construction techniques, water quality testing, plant seeding and harvesting, and much more!
