Hello Nicolas - It depends on whether the worker is in the government, ngo (different rates in national and international ngos), private sector or UN. Public servant salaries are specified in one of the laws (or decree laws). You will need to search the laws to find that as I do not know which it is off hand. In relation to NGO's, I can speak from my personal knowledge and as I noted above that depends on whether it is a national ngo or an international ngo and happy to share that with you if you want. I can also give you ball park figures for national UN staff and private sector (depends on which sector too).
The UNTAET regulation on the labour code (also on east timor law journal) sets the basic standards for workers in East Timor.
