Why is 前市長在後方 treated as *one* ambiguous string?

I would have expected*di two ambiguous strings: 前市長+在後方

Interestingly, Google Translate manages to translate this string fully correctly:

'Hao Longbin former mayor in the rear'

I guess both 前市長 and 在後方 are individual entries in their database (both would also be candidates for our oncoming user dictionary).

What's more, GT must have a powerful Chinese name dictionary.

OK, but why is 前市長在後方 treated as *one* ambiguous string by Morpheus?

Is this because two ambiguous strings (前市長+在後方) are "added up" to become one string?

mmm, there have to be two separated segments, 前市長+在後方. So, that is incorrect segmenting, I am afraid. I'll look at a code later
