Digits only uses cpu when I try to train a model

When I am at the home screen it says "1/1 GPU available"

When I create my model it displays my gpu however cpu usage is at 99% while gpu usage never goes above 10%

I am running on debian10 through nvidia-docker

the last few lines of my digits.log in my /jobs/ directory:

I suspect I need to change that gpu=0 to gpu=1 but I do not know how.
