I have tried to pull the temp using digitemp and am not getting anything:

[root@draco ~]# digitemp_DS2490 -w -a
DigiTemp v3.5.0 Copyright 1996-2007 by Brian C. Lane
GNU Public License v2.0 - http://www.digitemp.com
Found DS2490 device #1 at 001/012
Turning off all DS2409 Couplers

I have tried it on a Fedora 16 Box and a Linux Mint Laptop, it is using a USB Adapter.  It seems to think it is a DSS2490, since the others just error out.

[root@draco ~]# digitemp_DS9097 -w -a

Error, serial port '' does not exists!

The Sensor is a Humidty/Temp Sensor I bought from Hobby-Boards aand since they assembled it, I am assuming it is good.

Any sugessstions on what I should do to get output.

The first thing you need to know is what kind of device it is. Is it
really a DS2490? IF so, you may need to blacklist the ds2490 kernel
module. You also need to pass -s USB when reading temps.

If it is a 9097U on a USB to serial adapter then you need to pass it the
serial port with -s /dev/ttyUSBX

Look at the output of dmesg just after you attach the device to see what
device it was setup as.
