Thank you MOONEER, for the information... very interesting... I think that from anywhere, experimentation within the world of fundamental and basic amateur radio... can never be satisfied with what can be achieved... challenge the limits... and with resources very basic of course..
Lately we are trying a combination of EASY PAL TEXT with FDV, you can send short messages that are displayed in the FDV waterfall... also using a program called pic fall, you can send short messages, using the voice keyer... you have to practice a little, so as not to appear in the mirror... but it's a bit of a joke for friends...
For my part... I cannot use FDV 1.9.2, because I cannot enter the frequency in the FDV REPORTER... the generic number of the band appears (for example, 40 meters, 7.0000 kc) and the small window does not appear in the program either. As before.. I must go to the FDV REPORTER page, to see the frequencies, operating stations and chat.
I assume it is a problem with my computer, which is very old (w 7)
Thank you again for sharing information.

Hi Jose,

You should be able to go to Tools->FreeDV Reporter to show the list of stations regardless of whether you can enter a frequency. This assumes you've enabled reporting and FreeDV Reporter in the Reporting tab in Tools->Options, however. Additionally, if you click on one of the tabs after entering a frequency, FreeDV Reporter should update, though depending on your radio you may also need to enable "Manual Frequency Reporting" (also in the Reporting tab in Tools->Options). Hope this helps!

Thanks,
