ok JOHNN, thank you for your kind response.. I understand perfectly.. if of course, the 2 programs compete for the com port, then the solution is to use the FDV port as the output port to start the transmission, as can be seen in the video, simultaneously, also press the ptt of the ROS 7. BOTH PROGRAMS WILL TRANSMIT SIMULTANEOUSLY, ROS 7 does not have a power control, so you will have to use the FDV one or an external one from the interface, so that it allows FDV NOT TO DROP TOO MUCH.. you will see in any sdr, 2 superimposed signals.. it is more complicated to rescue the FDV level.. BUT ROS WILL NOT SUFFER ANY PROBLEM, IT WILL ALWAYS DECODE WELL EVEN UNDER THE MOST INTENSE FDV SIGNAL..
Another possibility is to use a serial port emulator and use the 2 programs simultaneously, but I use it the first way and it outputs fine.
They are just tests to make the hobby more fun. .....JAJAJA
As you can see, the message banner disappeared in the latest versions, it was quite good for sending a message by radio, not using the chat like now..
We are also using easy pal, to send messages, you can see some images and letters quite well in the FDV waterfall, then I will send you a video.
Finally, I know that ROS 7 is not authorized in the USA... except CIVIL BAND... but we use it a lot, we control it by voice, we only speak, write and broadcast, like a WASSAP, but faster, without errors, at maximum speed, it's like talking relaxed, and with a text to speech, we hear the correspondent's response, it's like digital audio, but using AI.. DECODES FROM -14 DB UNDER THE NOISE WITHOUT ERRORS.. WORKS VERY WELL, IT'S ONLY INFORMATIONAL VERY USEFULL IN PERSONS WITH VISUAL PROBLEMS ..INCLUSIVE ..OF COURSE ..
Thank you again for your interest, we are available.
a warm 73
