In looking at an RTOS available for the STM32, I am quite impressed with the support pages of:


When it comes to the Discovery Board, it also has "Yes" across all the options, like hardware abstraction, etc. One nice thing, is the OS is done completely static, as in no alloc()/free() at the OS level, but of course can be used by your applications.

Use the CMSIS RTOS, it works on every cortex-m platform with enough RAM.

Not all the cmsis rtos product options are open source though. Which one did you have in mind?
