Reporter Down?

Hi,

I just installed a test version of FreeDV (2.1.0-dev-55d4) and nothing is being displayed on the reporter.  Is the reporter server down or does this version have a bug.

I don't see a method to edit my original post so:   This is on Windows 10.

Never mind.

I reverted to the 2.0.2 version and all is good.

Hi Mooneer,

Nope.  Just the same, nothing is displayed on the reporter.  I fell back to the 2.0.2 and the reporter is fine.

Hi Ron,

With the latest 2.1.0 you were trying earlier, can you do the following?

1. Go to Tools->Options->Debugging and make sure "Show Console" and "Verbose" are checked.

2. Close the FreeDV main window and restart it from the Start menu (or however you start 2.1.0).

3. Wait a few seconds, then copy the contents of the console window that appears to a text file (should work similarly to a Command Prompt window) and email this to me off-list?

(FWIW I just installed 2.1.0-dev-761d on my Windows machine and the FreeDV Reporter window appears to be working with no issues.)
