Hi Folks,

Please send me what hours you will be available to help in the booth at
Hamvention. Then we can work out who should work when. My goal is to not
have anyone doing too many hours.

If you are coming to Hamvention and have not already contacted me, we
would all tremendously appreciate if you'd put in a few hours. The more
of us there are, the less load on all of us. No expertise required, you
just need to be friendly and tell people about FreeDV.

I will be at Hara on Thursday morning to do set-up. We have a much more
modest venue this year, and we've learned some lessons, so I expect it
to be much less of a hassle.

Thanks

Bruce

Thank you very much Bruce and the group for your help at Hamvention. I
can make myself available via Skype if that's helpful.

Cheers,

David

Good idea. Let's see if they can handle that in the meeting room, I'll ask Steve.

Hi Folks,

We have a mixed bag of availability and scheduling, some people are only coming
for part of a day, some are there for 3 days, some are going to Hamvention for
the first time and don't really have an estimate of what they'll be doing.

So, I am making some scheduling requests below, please get back to me if they
won't work or if you'd like to do something else.

From Wednesday 9PM or so through Monday evening I will be at Dayton and
my mobile number is 510-717-4520. I'll also have email.

Exhibitor tickets:
Please get a normal ticket if you don't have one. It turns out that the TAPR
guys can get exhibitor tickets, but I can't get any because we no longer have
our own booth and are in the TAPR booth. I will try to get one from the exhibitor
manager once I get to Hara.

Scheduling requests:

I am leaving Gerry and Mel open to operate the station on their schedule.
They both spend more than enough time in the booth. When they aren't around,
the rest of us can operate the station.

You are always welcome in the booth. Just please talk with people or run the
station when you are there.

Thursday:

Bruce will come in and hook up the internet and put up the banner.
Chris speaks at "Four Days in May".

Friday

TAPR will have someone covering the booth during the forum.
Bill Curtice:     11:30AM to 1:30PM.
Jeff Dubin:       1:30PM to 3:00PM.
Rich Barnach:     3:00PM to 4PM.

Sunday:
Jeff Dubin:      9AM to 10AM
Steven Hurd:      10AM to 11AM
Bruce Perens      11AM to 1PM

Chris and I will be showing Whitebox and will probably be in the booth for
extra hours.

Mel and I will probably be on Ham Radio Now and possibly other interviews.
Chris and I will have a few meetings with radio manufacturers.

Hi from the airplane :-)

Daniel is on the flight with me and says he'll take the Saturday 4 to 5PM slot.

Folks who haven't scheduled: the people scheduled the longest will be Bill, and Jeff, and I, I suspect Mel and Gerry will be there a lot as well, and probably Chris as he's doing Whitebox demos. Please stop by while these folks are scheduled and give them breaks if you can.

I have heard from Jeff, Daniel, and myself :-) Please acknowledge that you can work the requested time, or not. Swaps and negotiation are fine.

Yep, no problems... though it's "Stephen" (or just "Steve" or "Hey you").
