Longshot, but anyone else try this?
I suspect it's a rustdesk limitation, but just trying to get the decoded output from freedv sent out the rustdesk audio channel to an Android or other device so I can result monitor for activity and decode quality.

Windows 10 Pro Stick PC

Thanks

Hi Scott,

I'm not familiar with RustDesk, unfortunately. Does it happen to provide a virtual audio device that Windows sees? If so, you should be able to just tell FreeDV to use that. Otherwise, you may be able to install something like VB-Cable and point both RustDesk and FreeDV to that for the audio channel.

Thanks,

Mooneer,

I added a VB Audio Cable and that did the trick.

It appeared to be a two step process.

1. Unassociated the USB Mic input from "communications default" in windows

2. Set VB Audio Cable as device for Computer to decoded output section.

Then rustdesk remotely receives the decoded audio! Nice!
