Setup SmartSDR for Mac

I am very familar with the Flex system and have a number of radios. But I having a little trouble getting FreeDV talking directly to the Flex.

I see lots of Windows setup but I want to use this on the Mac.

Are there any tips, videos, or other content to get me over this what has to be a simple issue.
