Hi Folks,

I have just set up FreeDV on the PC and HF rig. Seems to be working.

No contacts yet.

I am trying to get into FreeDV HF QSO Finder. When I enter my callsign, it rejects me.

I dont know how to create an account, cant find it.

I am in the Czech Republic. I will try the 20 m frequency of 14.236 MHz. Also not sure what mode to use (FreeDV mode). Hopefully anyone listening will switch to the right mode automatically, I dunno.

I am quite excited about this mode, I hope to make some QSOs soon.

Make sure your call is listed at https://www.hamqth.com/

This is where it is looking.

Can somebody run up my patched freebeacon, www.unixservice.com.au/parrot/src ?
There are not enough stations here, downunder (VK) to test whether a HF repeater is useful.
I've been running from my home here with a high noise level. Some stations are received well,
but I have no comments on whether they received their QSO from my retransmission.
I know it works, but I want confirmation that it is useful by two stations using it as a repeater.
Received signals at www.unixservice.com.au/parrot/.

Seems to work fine for me at the moment, FWIW. Might have been a temporary issue?
