Speaker Request: FreeDV Overview for West Georgia Amateur Radio Society (Nov 10)
John Playford
Hello,
I am reaching out on behalf of the West Georgia Amateur Radio Society (W4FWD). We are looking for a speaker experienced with FreeDV to join our club meeting virtually via Google Meet on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 7:15 p.m. Eastern.
We would love a brief 20–30 minute informal overview of FreeDV—especially beginner tips for getting started and a brief look at the new RADE mode—followed by a quick Q&A session with our members.
If anyone in the community is available and interested in helping a local club learn more about this mode, please let us know!

John Playford, WD8LQT
