Job Title: iOS Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Local)

Duration: Long-term.

 

Job Description:

Note: Client prefers the Local consultant to Cincinnati, OH but Consultant within 50 Miles of Cincinnati, OH / Charlotte, NC / Boca Raton, FL / Chicago, IL is also ok.

Skills: iOS Apps, Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, interface design, backend systems, API integrations, Agile tools, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, XCTest, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD processes.

Requirements:

·         Minimum 6 years of experience in developing iOS Apps, with a focus on Swift, complemented by knowledge in Objective-C and Xcode

·         Previous iOS Developer Lead experience is advantageous.

·         Previous experience in project planning for large-scale or highly complex projects.

·         Comprehensive understanding of mobile application development processes, covering layout/user interface design, backend systems, and API integrations.

·         Strong understanding and appreciation of Agile tools, processes, and methodologies.

·         Proficiency in iOS technologies including Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and XCTest.

·         Familiarity with GitHub Actions for automated workflows and CI/CD processes.

 

Typical Duties:

·         Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large and/or architecturally significant applications

·         Champion company standards and best practices, continuously improving software delivery processes and practices

·         Develop programming specifications, designing, coding, and unit testing application code using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices

·         Collaborate with Product team to plan new features, gather requirements, and propose solutions

·         Acquire and interpret business requirements, creating functional specifications, and determining the most efficient/appropriate technologies

·         Research and implement new interface development techniques

·         Support the entire application lifecycle from concept, design, testing, release, to support

·         Demonstrate ability to work with new technologies, showing drive, adaptability, and creative thinking

·         Establish development best practices and contribute to the growth of mobile application standards

·         Foster a culture of innovation and out-of-the-box thinking

·         Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies

·         Assist other team members on assignments, including mentoring or providing on-the-job training to more junior associates.
