Job Title: GIS Network Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale/Santa Clara, CA- (On-site)

Duration: Long-term Contract Role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Implementation: Configure and implement complex LAN, WAN, SDWAN (ValoCloud), and cloud-based networks.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide L3 support for complex network issues.
• Security Management: Manage network security (firewalls, intrusion prevention).
• Performance Monitoring: Use tools to monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth network operations.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS).
• Proficiency in Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Aruba Switches/Wireless.
• Experience with ARMIS, Lab Security, and Port Security Dot1x.
• Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto, or Aruba certification preferred.
• Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
